In traditional smelting production, the interference of smoke and dust inside the furnace is severe, making it difficult to accurately determine the molten pool boundary, liquid level, and splashing hazards; manual observation has large errors and there are shortcomings in safety and production control. This patent specifically overcomes the detection challenges under complex smelting conditions and builds a new detection system relying on machine vision and deep learning algorithms.
The technology first performs brightness normalization and registration on the images inside the furnace, extracts multi-base wavelet decomposition feature tensors, and separates the two types of features-molten pool and smoke/dust-through a dual-path Vision-KAN encoding network; relying on a smoke density model, it completes feature gating adjustment, reconstructs clear molten pool images, accurately segments the molten pool boundary, identifies the liquid level line, synchronously outputs a splashing risk map, and automatically generates a comprehensive smelting state assessment.
The entire system greatly reduces the recognition deviation caused by smoke and dust occlusion, significantly improves the detection accuracy and operational stability of the molten pool state, enables real-time intelligent prediction of furnace conditions, effectively reduces the risk of production abnormalities, and helps improve quality, reduce costs, and ensure safety in the refining process.
