The overall solution project for special stainless steel equipment of a Sichuan customer was simultaneously launched with the supporting projects contracted by MCC Capital Engineering & Research Inc. (MCC CERI).

Recently, the kick-off meetings for three projects – the overall solution project for special stainless steel equipment of the Sichuan customer, the Fujian Refining Furnace Project, and the Hebei Refining Furnace Project (both EPC general contracted by MCC CERI) – were held concurrently. Focusing on key links of preliminary preparations, the three meetings systematically deployed promotion tasks, laying a solid foundation for the smooth implementation of subsequent project phases.

The kick-off meetings targeted three core tasks with precise efforts:

—— Officially finalizing the project team structure, refining the list of responsibilities and authorities for each position, and ensuring that responsibilities are fully assigned to every post and individual at all levels;

—— Organizing relevant departments to jointly deliberate on construction schedule milestones, formulating detailed phased schedules in combination with the technical characteristics of refining furnace construction, and proactively identifying and mitigating potential schedule risks;

—— Conducting in-depth discussions on key matters such as technical scheme connection, construction resource guarantee, and quality & safety control, and clarifying detailed rules for cross-departmental collaboration.

The person in charge of the MCC CERI project team emphasized at the meeting that refining furnace construction requires high technical standards and tight process connection. The project team must promote linkage among design, construction, and technical departments, closely monitor key schedule milestones, proactively predict technical difficulties in core processes, and formulate corresponding solutions. The relevant person in charge of the Sichuan project also stated that they will implement all preparatory details through efficient collaboration and pool efforts from all parties to advance project construction.

By clarifying divisions of labor, refining plans, and building consensus, the kick-off meetings have established an efficient promotion framework for the three projects. Taking this preparation and deployment as the starting point, the project team members will firmly promote task implementation, fully ensure the projects proceed in an orderly manner as planned, strive to achieve the construction goals at an early date, and realize the high-quality delivery of the projects.
